Graphic Design Festival

Poster series designed at Studio Dumbar, 2008

The kind people of the graphic design festival in Breda offered us an opportunity to make an art posters to occupy the streets. I wanted to create a poster that celebrates the studio. It features references to the legacy of Gert Dumbar as well as the current designers at the agency and its culture. Once we got into the studio with photographer Krista van der Niet, we came up with so much material it would be a waste not to do something with it, so we developed a series of five posters instead. Poster 1: The Philantropist. The studio supports many cultural and societal causes by donating time and design power. Poster 2: The dreamer. Sometimes with our heads in the clouds.
